How It Works

Color Harmonization operates directly on the hue component of an input image, using a hue-shifting algorithm on its HSV representation.

It begins by converting the image from RGB to HSV to isolate hue information, then applies the chosen harmonic template (such as complementary or triadic equivalents) with a specified angle to shift hues accordingly.

Finally, it reconstructs the image back to RGB and generates a comparative hue histogram.

This efficient pipeline delivers harmonized results in a single pass, making it fast and effective for refining color palettes.

  • Input: One source image (PNG / JPG / JPEG), a template name (e.g., vertical_bar, v_shape, x_cross), and an angle value for hue adjustment
  • Output: Harmonized PNG image with shifted colors, plus a side-by-side hue histogram PNG comparing original and processed distributions
